Yael graduated from Rimon, Israel's best college of Jazz studies, in
2001. She studied there under the direction of some of the best musicians in Israel: Ilan
Mochiach, Ilan Salem, Rafi Kadishzon, and Rachel Hochman. During this same year
she established the "Trio Cinnamon," a vocal Jazz Trio, which Performed
primarily with classical jazz repertoire.
In 2001 Yael started her music studies
at the New School University in New York City. There she specialized as a vocal Jazz
Performer. At New School she studied under Rory Stuart, J.I.Bloom,
Junior Mance, Gerard D'angelo, Jamie Haddad, Francesca tanksley, Richard
Harper, Cecil Bridgewater, Cecil Mcbee, LeeAnn Ledgerwood, and Aaron
Goldberg.
In November 2002 Yael recorded a set of Jazz standards, which received
enthusiastic critiques. The CD's title You Must Believe was derived from
its main track, You Must Believe In Spring And was inspired by the great
Bill Evans CD - You Must Believe In Spring.

Yael has recently graduated from the New School in May of 2004 and is now pursuing
